Pipoja ja pientä tuunausta

Innostuin pari päivää taaksepäin painamaan Eurokankaasta ostamiini (ei riikinkukkokangas) trikookankaisiin hauskoja printtejä ja tässä kuvia mitä niistä syntyi. Molemmille lapsille tein pari ohkaista pipoa viileneviin päiviin ja Niksulle lisäksi pehmeän trikoisen kaulahuivin. Meillä Risto Räppääjä ja Viileä Venla on nyt kova sana, etenkin ne laulut. Sieltä poimittiin pipoihin sanat cool ja staili. :)

Mulla pyörähti nyt viimeinen lomaviikko käyntiin ja oon täällä ihan intopiukeena touhuamassa kaikkea. Koko ajan on kauhea tarve saada kotia laitettua ja järkkäiltyä, ommeltua ja askarreltua, ihan kuin töiden alettua ei ikinä ehtisi mitään tekemään. Onneksi mulla on edelleen ne perjantait vapaat, joten ehdinhän mä ainakin taas silloin. Toisaalta ihan kivakin saada vähän rytmiä taas tähän haihatteluun. ;)

Eilen sain päähäni tuunata olkkarin valoverhoja. Meillä tykkää koirat aina katsella ikkunoista ja jos verhot sattuu olemaan kiinni, niin ne pökkii kuonollansa verhot niskaan jotta näkevät ulos. Siitä syystä myös valkoisten verhojen alareunat oli tummuneet rumasti ja päätin uusien verhojen sijaan koittaa peittää akryylimaalilla ne jäljet. Kuvio on aika nähty, mutta helppo toteuttaa tällaiseen kokeiluun.

This past weekend i printed some cute pics onto fabrics as i told you before and here are the fabrics sewed together. Hats! I made two hats for both my kids and a soft jersey scarf for Niila. The weather has chilled out some and it won´t be long until these will come to use.

My last week of summer vacation just started and i´m all crazed up about doing everything all the time. Have to get the home well cleaned and organized, have to sew this and that and craft with my kids and and... Just like i´d never have any spare time again in my life! :D
Fortunately i do.. Since i still have three days off in a week. It´s actually quite nice to get back to work in a way. Get some routines to our (now) floating days.

Last three (bad) pictures are of our dimming blinds that i almost threw away but then decided to tune them up. As you know we have two good sized dogs. Those two rascals love to look out from the windows and when the blinds are down, they use their heads to puck up the curtain so they can see outside. Hence that habit, the below parts of the curtains have turned dark - which is icky - and yesterday i got the idea of trying acrylic paint to cover those parts.
That experiment turned out fine enough and so i got them a little more using time before we have to get new ones.
